Client program settings can be configured in the main CafeStation program - just go to menu Program/Client setup. Once you set up all the options to suit your needs, press OK
and you will be asked to enter (and confirm) client program password.
Please make sure to remember this password, because without it you
won't be able to uninstall client software. Then you will be asked
whether to save client program to different folder. By default the
client program is located in Client subfolder of CafeSuite directory which normally would be c:\Program Files\CafeSuite\Client. The client program files include:
CafeAgent.exe - the client program executable
CafeAgent.ini - text file with client program configuration
CafeAgent.tra - default translation file
CafeAgent - language.tra - optional translation files for other languages
All
these files should be in the same folder, so for example if you want to
copy client program to a floppy make sure to copy all the files.
Finally you need to execute CafeAgent.exe.
The best way is to open it through Network Neighbourhood, but you can
also copy it to a floppy or other portable disk drive and execute from
there. The client program will automatically copy itself to the system
folder (provided that you leaved option Copy client program to system directory enabled in client setup).
- How do I disable CafeAgent in the workstation ?
CafeAgent can be easily closed using CafeStation provided that operator
has appropiate access rights ('Configure/update/close CafeAgent'
priviledge). Just select workstation(s) and use menu
'Workstation/System/Close CafeAgent' to close or uninstall CafeAgent
remotely or use CafeAgent menu to exit program after authorization.

Either use menu 'Workstation/System/Close CafeAgent' in CafeStation to
remotely uninstall CafeAgent or use Uninstall command from CafeAgent
menu and enter your CafeAgent password.

You can activate 'Time bar' by clicking left mouse button on CafeAgent
hourglass icon and place it anywhere on the screen. You should also
look at options in Miscellanoeus page in CafeAgent configuration. |
