Is it possible to turn CafeAgent off by clients?
CafeAgent
is quite well protected against turning off which should discourage
most malicious users - it's hidden from windows task list and killing
its process will cause system restart anyway. However even if somebody
manages to close it, the time is still being counted on the server and
the operator is immediately notified that there is no connection with
that workstation.
- How can I protect the rates I set from other staff which is not authorized to use it?
Only
operator with specific access rights can modify charging rates. By
default settings operators cannot change rates for workstation groups.
They can only temporarily switch to charging rates of 'Special' type.
If you don't want that change rates type to 'Standard'.
