CafeAgent should work fine with most full screen games, but there are
always exceptions. Often it depends on hardware configuration (type of
graphic adapter) or game engine (OpenGL or DirectX). It's good when
game runs in the same screen resolution and has the same color depth as
Windows desktop. You can also try to select 'Display using remind
message look' option on 'Time over message' page in options.
- CafeStation cannot connect with some of the workstations. What's wrong?
First try pinging unconnected workstations from main computer. Go to
MS-DOS commandline (Start menu/Run, enter command.com and press Enter,
in a window that appears enter ping computer_name or ping computer_IP).
If ping fails, it means that there is something wrong with network
settings. Make sure that a subnet mask is identical on every
workstation - you can check it in Network page of Control Panel.
Otherwise check if computer address in CafeStation is correct (menu
List/Edit computer).

Assuming that you've set 'Run program automatically at system startup'
option in CafeAgent configuration, you probably execute CafeAgent on
Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP as a normal user. It's all
right, but you have to run program at least once as an administrator so
that it can install itself in the system.

Press Yes, so that 'Charging rates' page in options opens. There you
should create charging rates for accounts - just click Add, enter your
rates and change type to 'Account'.

Just select 'Accept anonymous logons' option on 'Logon system' page in CafeAgent configuration and reinstall CafeAgent. |
